7 Must Haves for June

June, for us, is all about dressing to beat the heat in the most stylish way possible. Below, we've narrowed down our 7 must haves for a seriously fashionable start to summer.

1. DELICATE LACE

Nothing says summer quite as well as white lace. We're partial to breezy, looser silhouettes to keep us cool during those extra hot days.

2. HEELS YOU CAN WALK IN

You really don't want to have that slipping, sliding, shaking leg feeling in the summer. That's why it's essential for your summer heels to be easily walkable and fit just right. We recommend half-sizing down for open-toe sandals so you make sure to have a great grip, but for closed toe shoes we recommend half-sizing up if your feet are prone to swell in the heat.

3. BREEZY DRESSES

Girl needs to be able to BREATHE in the summer! If you sweat a lot, steer away from body-con looks and go for breezier silhouettes like the Navy Polka Dot Dress from Simple Extravagance.

4. A summery hat

We've said it before, we'll say it again. A great hat pulls a look together and straw hats add an insta-summer vibe to any look.

5. THE MOST COMFORTABLE PAIR OF LEGGINGS

Because let's not kid ourselves – we do plan to binge watch a few shows this summer. And the perfect couch uniform is completed by an uber-comfortable pair of leggings.

6. JEWELRY WITH NODS TO SUMMERTIME

We're living in a lot of minimalistic looks this June, so it's fun to dress it up with bold jewelry. Although the above earrings are sold out, we've included a few of our other favorites.

7. NECK SCARVES

The best thing about scarves? There are so many ways to wear them around your neck let alone around your head, a ponytail, your wrist, bag, or even your ankle.
